Brutally effective, and yet so concise. I'm impressed.

And for the record, my wife and I don't actually have kids - yet.

Fred Charles intrigued me with his story that strove for maximum effect with minimal words. This was my attempt to do the same - and for me, at least, it makes my heart leap up into my throat everytime I read it. Ironically enough, it also comes in at exactly 13 words.
