The wonderful folks over at WordPress will be releasing the final version of WordPress 2.3 in about three weeks. I’m going to start work on a fresh theme for Flashes of Speculation now that will be based on the popular Sandbox theme. The combination of Sandbox and WordPress 2.3 will give Flashes of Speculation more power as a flash fiction site. As such, I will likely end up changing the way we handle submissions here that will hopefully allow us to generate more interest, both from writers and readers, and make it easier on everyone (especially me) to get fresh new stories posted on a regular basis. More on this as I get things put together and set up for the relaunch of Flashes of Speculation.
